On April 30, President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan met with President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan.
Arayik Harutyunyan congratulated Vahagn Khachaturyan on assuming the post of President of Armenia and expressed confidence that Vahagn Khachaturyan will use all his strength, energy, experience and knowledge for the development of Armenia.
Vahagn Khachaturyan thanked for the good wishes, expressing his support to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), building the unity and devotion of all Armenians.
President Khachaturyan welcomed the meeting of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and the President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan held in Armenia’s Government yesterday, which was dedicated to the programs implemented in Artsakh and the ways of solving the existing problems.
The Presidents of Armenia and Artsakh touched upon the domestic and foreign policy issues, the challenges faced by the Armenians of Artsakh, the programs aimed at the secure and stable future of Artsakh, the protection of the rights of the Armenians of Artsakh, the security issues and a number of other issues.
