Realization and protection of the Karabakh people's right to live peacefully and decently in their historical motherland is a priority for the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic authorities, irrespective of any speculations, Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan said.
His remarks came at Wednesday meeting with senior officials of the Investigative Committee and the Public Prosecutor's Office.
The President confirmed that the authorities of the republic had chosen an agenda for peace.
“However, as I noted in my statement late last year, full recognition of Karabakh Armenians' right to self-determination is not subject to any reservations or concessions. The Karabakh Armenians are the sole addressee of this issue,” Harutyunyan said.
According to him, the Karabakh authorities fully adhere to the principles upon which statehood was built for over three decades.
