The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, on the air of Sputnik radio, said that Western countries staged a "hellish carousel" of arms supplies to Kyiv.
“Of course, both business and such a hellish carousel, and among other things, the main goal is to destabilize the region, and ... the continuation of the acute phase of the conflict, which leads to more and more deaths,” RIA Novosti quotes her.
Thus, she answered the question of whether the West continues to make money on the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
Zakharova added that when weapons were supplied to the conflict zone by other countries, the West got hysterical, and they demanded an embargo, imposed sanctions to prevent this, turned to the UN Security Council, but in the case of Kyiv, a different logic applies.
Earlier, Zakharova said that it seems that Western countries are competing in the volume of arms supplies to Ukraine.
