In an interview with Fox News, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin called any talk of Ukraine's possible membership to NATO a speculation, stressing that he did not intend to discuss the issue.
He also noted that at present the issue of Ukraine joining the alliance is neither on the agenda nor a priority.
Earlier it was reported that the Pentagon has opened a center to control the supply of weapons to Ukraine in Stuttgart on the basis of the US European Command. The source says that the new structure based in Germany will coordinate and accelerate the delivery of military aid to Kyiv from more than 40 countries.
In addition to American specialists, the European Control Center of Ukraine (EUCOM Control Center of Ukraine) employs employees from 15 countries.
