A new face-to-face meeting between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations may take place if there are substantive agreements, but there are none, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko said on Monday, RIA Novosti reported.
“Once we have substantive agreements on which a substantive exchange of ideas can take place, then the issue will be discussed. There is no such thing yet,” Rudenko told reporters.
The Deputy Foreign Minister also referred to the news about the referendum in Kherson. He stated that he had no such information.
Earlier, British intelligence announced its intention to hold a pro-Russian referendum in Kherson. Adviser to the President of Ukraine Alexei Arestovich made such a statement. However, there was no official confirmation of that information.
