The Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense and Foreign Affairs of the Greek Parliament, Konstantinos Gioulekas, took part in an event dedicated to the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Thessaloniki and laid a wreath at the monument to the Unknown Soldier.
“From the memorial event for the 107th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. The bonds of Greeks and Armenians are many and strong. The two peoples are also linked to the blood of the two Genocide, the Armenian Genocide that preceded and the Pontiac Genocide and the Minor Asian Greekism that followed,” Gioulekas wrote.
