Georgia reported 161 coronavirus cases, 301 recoveries, and 1 death on Friday, the official figures show, the First Channel reports.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 86 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 20 cases, and the Kakheti region with 13 cases.
A total of 18 178 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 16 709 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 1 469 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 0, 89%, while 1, 23% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 654 076, among them 1 635 291 people recovered and 16 795 died.
As of April 22, 2 876 960 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 923 in a day.
