Yerevan’s Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan received US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Lynne Tracy.
Referring to the cooperation between the Municipality of Yerevan and the embassy, the Mayor expressed his satisfaction with the process of the joint programs.
During the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on the implementation of new joint projects, training of specialists and exchange of experience. Presenting the process of transport reform to the Ambassador, the Mayor valued the application of the successful experience of Los Angeles to effectively manage traffic in Yerevan.
Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, the Ambassador in her turn reaffirmed the readiness to expand cooperation with the Municipality of Yerevan. She also mentioned that the embassy will continue to support the implementation of new programs in various fields.
