During a weekly briefing, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova spoke about efforts to normalize Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, including the appointment of Russian Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Khovayev as Russian Foreign Minister's Special representative for Yerevan-Baku Relations. She said that one of Igor Khovayev's main tasks is to assist his Azerbaijani-Armenian counterparts in preparing a peace agreement.
