Norway has sent 100 Mistral air defense missiles to Ukraine in response to Kyiv’s request for weapons, Reuters reported on Wednesday, citing the Norwegian Defense Ministry, TASS reports.
Earlier, Norway particularly provided Ukraine with 2,000 anti-tank grenade launchers.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky earlier asked Oslo to send weapons to his country, including Harpoon anti-ship missiles and NASAMS mobile missile systems. In addition, he said that Ukraine also needed anti-armor weapons and artillery systems.
