Washington will announce new sanctions against Russia in a few days, White House Spokeswoman Jen Psaki said.
According to her, the United States will continue to study the issue of imposing additional sanctions on Russia for special military operations in Ukraine, as well as ways to tighten existing sanctions.
Psaki avoided answering the question of whether the United States would add Russia to its list of countries sponsoring terrorism.
She said that today, President Joe Biden will hold a video call with the leaders of the US ally and partner countries. The main topic of discussion will be the coordination of measures against Russia and the issue of supporting Ukraine.
