Providing more weapons to Ukraine by the European Union does not mean prolonging the war, but helping the country's defense.
Lead spokesperson for the external affairs of the EU Peter Stano made such a statement at a press conference in Brussels.
“More weapons does not mean more war, but more capabilities for Ukraine to defend its country, its citizens,” he said when asked why the EU was delaying the war by providing more and more weapons to Ukraine and whether Brussels is doing anything to stop the battles.
