Kazakhstan is not planning to hold a military parade on Victory Day, said the Ministry of Defense, AKI Press reports.
The military parade dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 will not be held in 2022, the message says.
9th of May the Victory Day, a holiday that commemorates the surrender of Nazi Germany in 1945.
It was also mentioned that the Ministry of Defense will organize about 50 different events, which will be held in all regions of the republic.
In 2020 and 2021, Kazakhstan again refused to hold a military parade due to the pandemic situation created by the spread of the coronavirus.
