German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated that Germany will continue to provide military assistance to the Ukrainian authorities, but will do so in a coordinated manner with its allies.
“We have armed Ukraine with weapons, tanks, anti-aircraft missiles, ammunition, etc. And we will continue to support Ukraine. We do it in close cooperation with all our friends, in close agreement,” Scholz said.
He stressed that there will be no unilateral steps by Germany, but there will be joint, well-considered actions.
Earlier, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell called on member states to send the necessary weapons to Ukraine as soon as possible.
