Georgia reported 273 coronavirus cases, 577 recoveries, and 1 death on Friday, the official figures show, the First Channel reports.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 101 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 37 cases, and the Shida Kartli region with 21 cases.
A total of 20 782 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 18 761 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2 021 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1, 31%, while 2,2% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 650 981, among them 1 630 564 people recovered and 16 766 died.
As of April 8, 2 864 300 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 577 in a day.
