The European Union does not have a common position on paying for Russian gas supplies. The head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen announced this.
“Contracts on gas supply are of great importance, the payment options provided by them, mainly in euros or dollars. We will carefully analyze the Russian President's decree on paying for gas supplies in rubles, but we do not have a common position yet,” Ursula von der Leyen said.
