Beijing welcomes the talks held in Brussels on April 6 between the Prime Minister of Armenia, the President of Azerbaijan, as well as the entire negotiation process between Baku and Yerevan, aimed at jointly maintaining peace and stability in the region, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said on April 7.
“The Chinese side welcomes the decision of both sides to resolve existing differences through dialogue and consultations, and sincerely hopes that both sides will implement the agreements and jointly maintain peace and stability in the region,” the Chinese diplomat said.
Zhao Lijian reminded that both Armenia and Azerbaijan are in partnership relations of friendly cooperation with China.
