During his visit to Poland, Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi held talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba, the Japanese Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“I want to note that the Japanese government and people are with Ukraine,” he said. He also said that Tokyo imposes severe sanctions on Moscow in a number of areas, cooperating with the international community, including the G7 countries. According to Hayashi, his country promotes the process of accepting Ukrainian refugees.
The Prime Minister of Japan will be in Poland until April 5. He will hold talks with the local authorities to assess the situation with the Ukrainian refugees.
