Russia does not intend to supply natural gas to Western Europe free of charge. If the European Union refuses to pay for supplies in rubles, Moscow will study the situation and make final decisions, Spokesman for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov told PBS.
“No payment, no gas,” Peskov warned.
He also referred to US President Joe Biden's statements about Vladimir Putin, calling them a personal insult.
“Of course, Biden's words about whether Putin is in power or not are unacceptable. The decision-maker is the Russian people,” the Kremlin Spokesman said.
