The martial law in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) was not declared today. Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan's press secretary Lusine Avanesyan clarified, informing that the martial law has been in force since 1992. Initially, until 2005, it operated with extensions, then indefinitely.
According to the law, the President of Artsakh can make relevant changes, impose restrictions based on the current situation.
It should be reminded that on March 26, President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan signed a decree on temporary restrictions on rights and freedoms in the conditions of martial law declared in the territory of Artsakh.
