The situation in Mariupol remains catastrophic, said the President of Ukraine, blaming the Russian military for keeping Mariupol under blockade.
According to the President of Ukraine, 37,606 people were evacuated from the blocked cities during the week, 18 humanitarian corridors were created.
Speaking about the talks, Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the peace agreement should ensure the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
"The people of Ukraine will not accept anything else," Zelensky said, adding that talks with Russia "must be meaningful."
He also stated that 16,000 soldiers of the Russian army had already died during the special military operation in Ukraine. Earlier, the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces reported that 1,351 servicemen had been killed from the Russian side.
