Washington is not going to send troops to Ukraine. Jen Psaki, the Press Secretary of the White House announced, reacting to Warsaw’s proposal to send NATO peacekeeping mission to Ukraine.
“Of course we will continue to support the people of Ukraine. But the confrontation with Russia is not in the interests of the Americans and our national security”, she mentioned.
The United States is also negotiating with its allies to provide Ukraine with air defense equipment, including anti-aircraft missile systems.
