Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto stated in an online briefing on Monday that imposing sanctions against Russian gas sources is a "red line" for Hungary.
"We clearly treat energy supply sanctions as a red line," said Szijjarto, adding that "energy security is not an ideological or philosophical question but a physical one."
The minister asserted that "it is not realistic" to push back Russian energy sources "in the next year or two."
He concluded by saying that although Hungary is currently not providing Ukraine with arms, the country "will not block [other] EU member states from supplying more weapons."
