One of the strong directions of our work is the further deepening and expansion of relations with traditional partners, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated this during the sitting of the NA Foreign Relations Standing Committee.
“The Armenian-Russian allied, strategic partnership continued developing in 2021. The agenda of the bilateral relations between Armenia and Russia has significantly expanded, involving new directions of deepening and expanding the cooperation in commercial, industry, agricultural, energetic, transport, ICT, social, healthcare and humanitarian spheres”, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan said.
He reminded that the 8th Armenian-Russian inter-regional conference was held in Yerevan on October 18-19 2021, as well as the 20th session of the Armenian-Russian inter-governmental commission on economic cooperation took place on December 21-22, co-chaired by the deputy prime ministers of the two countries.
Mirzoyan also touched upon the Armenian-American relations.
“The high-level dialogue between Armenia and the United States continued. Bilateral meetings were held between the foreign ministers of the two countries, the Security Council Secretary paid a visit to the United States, and an agreement was reached on organizing a regular sitting of the Armenian-American strategic dialogue,” the Armenian Foreign Minister said.
