On March 21, Russian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Lavrov and Bayramov had a telephone conversation.
A wide range of bilateral issues were discussed, including the implementation of the provisions of the Declaration on Allied Cooperation signed by Russia and Azerbaijani Presidents Putin and Aliyev on February 22, as well as the preparation for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
"The ministers discussed the implementation of the key provisions set out in the trilateral high-level agreements of November 20, 2020, January 11, 2021 as well as November 26, 2021. They also discussed concluding the peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia," the statement said.
Lavrov and Bayramov also discussed Ukraine and compared notes on the further work of the South Caucasus Platform "3+3" (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia - Russia, Turkey, Iran).
