The foreign ministers of the 27 EU member states will discuss the possibility of refusing to import oil from Russia due to the military operation in Ukraine. The head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrell announced this on Monday, upon his arrival at the EU Council meeting in Brussels, TASS reports.
According to Borrell, the ministers will discuss new sanctions against Russia. "We will discuss what other sanctions we can apply, especially in the energy sector," he added.
The head of EU diplomacy also stressed that the union will continue to support Ukraine, including financially.
