According to Mikhail Podolyak, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the talks between the representatives of the Kyiv and Moscow may take several weeks due to mutually exclusive legal issues. Podolyak noted the main demands of the Ukrainian side - a ceasefire, withdrawal of troops and a political settlement of the disputed territories.
Earlier in the day, Vladimir Medinsky, the head of the Russian delegation to the Russian-Ukrainian talks, said that the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky would be possible only if Moscow and Kyiv ratify an agreement on resolving the situation in Ukraine.
