On March 18, Ambassador Areg Hovhannisyan had a meeting with Tokuda Shuichi, the Deputy Director-General of European Affairs Bureau at the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On the occasion of 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Japan, the Armenian Ambassador presented to Tokuda a specially made batik souvenir in Armenia, symbolizing Armenian-Japanese friendship and ties.
The Armenian Embassy in Japan informs that during the meeting, the Ambassador presented to his interlocutor the latest developments around the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, a reference was made to different issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as geopolitical developments around Ukraine.
