The United States will transfer armament worth 1 billion dollars to Kyiv this week, including anti-aircraft missile systems and anti-tank systems. US President Joe Biden announced this.
According to him, last week his administration ordered to provide 200 million dollars to supply weapon to Ukraine. Now Biden used his powers bringing that amount to one billion.
The new package of military aid to Ukraine includes bigger 800 long-range air defense systems, 9000 anti-tank systems (including 2000 Javelin complexes), 7000 unit of firearms and 20 million different ammunition, as well as tactical drones.
