Negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations are expected today, which will be held online. The statement came from David Arakhamia, a member of the Ukrainian delegation and head of the parliamentary faction of the ruling People's Servant party, TASS reports.
Earlier, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that the next round of Russian-Ukrainian talks would be held.
The first Russian-Ukrainian talks took place in Gomel region of Belarus on February 28, the meeting lasted five hours. One of the results of the second phase, which took place on March 3 in the Belovezhskaya's forest, was the agreement reached between the parties on the creation of humanitarian corridors for the evacuation of residents. The delegations met for the third time on March 7. On March 10, Russian, Ukrainian and Ukrainian Foreign Ministers Sergey Lavrov and Dmytro Kuleba met within the framework of a diplomatic forum in Antalya, Turkey.
Ukrainian President Zelensky has high hopes for the meetings. He stated that in the negotiations with the Moscow delegation, the representatives of Kyiv should make every effort to organize a meeting between the leaders of Ukraine and Russia.
