The United Kingdom, France and Germany have expressed regret over the pause in the Vienna talks on the resumption of the JCPOA deal. This is stated in a joint statement of the three European negotiators, issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom.
“It is disappointing that the EU coordinator had to take a break from the Vienna talks,” the statement said.
Despite this, the European negotiators stated that the “honest and comprehensive deal” was ready and that the three parties were ready to sign it.
"No one should try to use the JCPOA negotiations to get guarantees that do not relate to the deal. This jeopardizes the deal, which will deprive Iran of the possibility of lifting sanctions, and the international community of the necessary guarantees on Iran's nuclear program. The JCPOA deal is under discussion and must be completed urgently,” the joint statement said.
