Today, on March 11, Finance Minister Tigran Khachatryan received the delegation led by Lila Pieters Yahia, the UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia.
Tigran Khachatryan presented to UN Coordinator the impact on the Armenian economy in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian hostilities.
In his speech, the Minister valued and highly evaluated the close cooperation with the United Nations and UN specialized agencies in the direction of strengthening the economy in Armenia, as well as efficiently implementing the goals of sustainable development.
Mrs. Pieters Yahia in her turn stressed that Armenia is not only a part of the UN family but a very active member.
According to her, the UN is ready to provide its further anti-crisis support to Armenia to resist the new economic situation.
