The Armenian Health Ministry reports that the United Nations organization is ready to provide its further support to the health ministry in reforms directed to developing the system.
Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan received Lila Pieters Yahia, the UN Resident Coordinator.
“Armenia's 30-year membership in the UN was marked by constructive cooperation with the UN agencies. We highly evaluate all the efforts that have been invested in healthcare of our country during these years”, the minister mentioned.
“Armenia is not only a part of the UN family, but a very active member. In many directions of health, Armenia has registered high indicators, exemplary for other countries”, Lila Pieters Yahia mentioned.
