Not only corruption, arrest of the oppositionists and human rights violations define Azerbaijan, but the steps which endanger the life of Nagorno-Karabakh residents and that danger is increasing day by day. Peter van Dalen, the Member of the European People's Party Group, co-author of “the destruction of the cultural heritage of Nagorno-Karabakh” resolution announced this.
“We see that by President Aliyev’s order, a systematic destruction of the cultural heritage of Nagorno-Karabakh is taking place, including churches, monuments of historical buildings, squares and etc.
In the European Parliament, we condemn the anti-Armenian policy of Baku and call on UNESCO to implement a fact-finding mission in Nagorno-Karabakh”, van Dalen said.
