A new district is being built in the village of Karmir, Askeran region, Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), the Ministry of Urban Planning reports.
“The construction works of a new settlement have started in the administrative territory of Karmir village of Askeran region.
The program of construction of private houses in the mentioned community is aimed at solving the problem of providing housing to the citizens displaced by the war. The district will consist of 64 private houses:
2-room - 14 residential houses,
3-room - 30 residential houses,
4-room - 16 residential houses,
5-room - 4 residential houses.
At the present stage, the construction of the foundations of private houses is being carried out mainly on land, and in some areas.
After the completion of the construction of residential houses, according to the project, the district will be equipped with the necessary infrastructure and the general area will be improved.
“The construction of the district is funded by the Artsakh government,” the note reads.
