By refusing to close the skies of Ukraine, the NATO leadership gave the green light for the bombing of Ukrainian towns and villages, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced.
“You could have closed the skies, but… I do not know whom you can protect, whether you are able to protect your member countries. You cannot buy us by liters of fuel for the liters of blood shed for our common Europe, our common future and freedom,” he said.
Zelensky called the meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels weak and embarrassing for the alliance to refuse to close the skies of Ukraine.
