The destruction of Ukraine's military infrastructure, including the air defense system, is almost complete, said Russian President Vladimir Putin. He has no doubt that the Russian army will solve all the tasks set before it in Ukraine.
Putin called the decision on a special military operation in Ukraine difficult, however, he considered the decision not to limit the operation in Ukraine only to Donbas to be absolutely right. According to him, if Russia limited military operations only in the Donbas, Ukrainian forces would continue to receive new resources.
The Russian President thanked the volunteers who want to join the special operation in Ukraine, noting that there is no need for it. At the same time, according to the Russian President, conscripts do not take part in the operations of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine, and it is not planned to send reservists to Ukraine, either.
Putin also expressed hope that the Ukrainian side will respond positively to Russia's proposals in the talks in Belarus.
