NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced that the foreign ministers of the alliance countries will discuss the “long-term consequences of the Ukrainian conflict in Brussels on Friday.
“NATO foreign ministers will meet to coordinate and respond to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and discuss its long-term consequences”, he said before the meeting.
NATO Secretary General once again affirmed that the alliance is not a party to the conflict in Ukraine.
“NATO is not a party of to the conflict in Ukraine and does not look for war against Russia, but it will add its presence on Russian borders”, Stoltenberg said.
US State Secretary Antony Blinken also expressed such position:
“NATO does not look for a conflict, but if it starts, the alliance will defend every inch of its territory”, he said.
