Russian media watchdog Roskomnadzor has decided to block access to the social media platform Facebook.
The watchdog says there have been 26 cases of discrimination against Russian media by Facebook since October 2020, with access restricted to state-backed channels like RT and the RIA news agency.
In recent days, this social network has restricted access to the Facebook pages of a number of news sites.
