Georgia reported 1,365 coronavirus cases, 9,790 recoveries, and 32 deaths on Friday, the official figures show, the First Channel reports.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 702 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 193 cases, and the Kakheti region with 95 cases.
A total of 9,671 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 6,495 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 3,176 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 14,11%, while 22,6% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1,620,639, among them 1,539,413 people recovered and 16,306 died.
As of March 4, 2,823,646 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 188 in a day.
