I assess the second meeting of the representatives of Armenia and Turkey as positive. Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated this today during the Parliament-Government question-and-answer session.
“The parties reaffirmed that the process takes place without preconditions, and that the end result of the process is the normalization of relations, and for us, the opening of the Armenia-Turkey border. The discussion was much more specific than the first one was supposed to be.
At the same time, we all understand that it is difficult to expect very tangible results for the second meeting. The second meeting was a process that should provide solutions to the problems of the centuries,” Mirzoyan said.
Mirzoyan informed that no decision has been made yet on the date and place of the third meeting.
