Negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations in Belarus are over. According to Mikhail Podolyak, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, "this was only the first round of talks, most likely, there will be the second one."
“The parties singled out a number of priority topics, in connection with which a certain solution has been outlined. In order for these decisions to become a reality, the parties are returning to the capitals for consultations,” he said.
According to him, it will be possible to develop the topics singled out in the possible second round of talks.
The head of the Russian delegation to the talks Vladimir Medinsky stated that the parties managed to find points on which it is possible to reach a common position.
“The next meeting of the Ukrainian-Russian delegations will take place on the Belarus-Poland border in the coming days,” he said.
