Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky agreed to Russian leader Vladimir Putin's offer and he is ready to talk about peace and a ceasefire. According to the press secretary of the President of Ukraine Sergey Nikiforov, “at this time consultations are underway on the place and time of the talks.”
“We must refute the allegations that we refused to negotiate. Ukraine has been, and is now, ready to talk about a ceasefire and peace. This is our permanent position. We have agreed to the proposal of the President of the Russian Federation,” he wrote on Facebook.
"At this very hour, the parties are consulting on the place and time of the negotiation process," he said.
