Russian President Vladimir Putin announced about his decision to start a special military operation in Donbas.
He reported that the national republics of Donbas have appealed for help.
“In connection with that, I decided to carry out a special military operation”, Putin said.
He added that Russia has not planned the occupation of Ukraine, but Russia will strive to demilitarize Ukraine.
