Recognition of Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics is not on the agenda of Armenia. In response to the question of ‘Lurer’, Spokesman of Armenia’s Foreign Ministry Vahan Hunanyan said this.
Question: What is Armenia's position on the developments in Russian-Ukrainian relations?
Answer: We surely want the existing issues between the two friendly states to be resolved through diplomatic dialogue, negotiations, and in accordance with the norms and principles of international law and the UN Charter. We hope for the necessary steps to be undertaken towards reducing the tension and resolving the situation peacefully.
Question: Do you consider the recognition of the People's Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk by the Republic of Armenia possible?
Answer: There is no such issue in the agenda.
