On February 19, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly.
The Foreign Ministers expressed satisfaction with the mutual respect and effective cooperation based on common values - democracy, rule of law, and effective protection of human rights. Minister Joly reaffirmed Canada's support for the democratic reform agenda in Armenia.
Both sides expressed readiness to take practical steps to strengthen the positive dynamics of the Armenian-Canadian relations.
During the conversation, the foreign ministers also discussed a number of important issues on the international and regional agenda.
