The G7 countries are in solidarity with Ukraine and they have agreed to continue contacts on the issue. The statement came from German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock after a meeting of G7 representatives within the framework of the Munich Security Conference, TASS reports.
“We met today to express our solidarity with Ukraine. We see a serious security crisis. We, the representatives of the G7, stand by Ukraine,” Annalena Baerbock said.
According to her, the parties agreed to continue contacts. “We are ready for different scenarios. Unleashing war in Europe will be the worst of them all. We are doing everything we can to avoid it.”
Annalena Baerbock confirmed that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba had also been invited to the G7 Foreign Ministers' meeting.
