Observers of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission recorded 870 cases of ceasefire violations in Eastern Ukraine per day. This is discussed in the mission report dated 18 February.
For example, in Donetsk region, the SMM recorded 222 ceasefire violations, including 135 explosions. In the Luhansk region, the mission recorded 648 ceasefire violations, including 519 explosions.
In the previous reporting period, the number of violations of the “silence” regime was less. Thus, 189 ceasefire violations were recorded in the Donetsk region a day earlier, and 402 ceasefire violations in the Luhansk region.
In Stanytsia Luhanska, a kindergarten was damaged due to shelling.
As for the areas of Stanytsia Luhanska, Zolote and Petrivske, 212 ceasefire violations (including 177 explosions) were recorded in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska and 32 explosions of Zolote.
