Georgia reported 15 644 coronavirus cases, 24 110 recoveries, and 46 deaths on Thursday, the official figures show, the First Channel reports.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 7 574 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 2 342 cases, and the Adjara region with 1 109 cases.
A total of 52 912 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 32 295 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 20 617 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 29, 57%, while 32, 01% in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 1 511 800, among them 1 324 172 people recovered and 15 729 died.
There are 16 people quarantined, 5 876 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 126 asymptomatic and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.
As of February 17, 2 787 627 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 3 257 in a day.
