On February 17, Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan received Nico Schermers, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Netherlands to Armenia.
During the meeting, issues of regional security were discussed.
At the request of the Ambassador, the Minister presented the border situation in Artsakh after cessation of hostilities, the positions of the Armenian Republic and the offers to ease tensions.
Issues of international developments were also discussed.
The interlocutors exchanged thoughts on the secure regional and international environment, the possibilities of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
